The Resource Corner (A Lending Library)
The Children’s Council has a lending library of reference and parenting books available to families. We have a wide selection of resources including ove 70 theme kits, and even reference books to help you and your children! All of the available resources can help your children learn about shapes and sizes, and help them develop fine motor skills. These resources can provide lots of play-while-learning time for parents and their children! This service is free to all child care providers. The Toy-lending area offers a variety of age-appropriate toys, books, games, and puzzles which are educational in nature. GED Classes
We also offer GED (General Educational Development) classes in collaboration with Caldwell Community College. They are held at The Children’s Council, and free child care is provided for participants.
