2024 Strategic Plan
Children’s Council of Watauga County, Inc. Is seeking written quotes for the facilitation of its 2025 – 2028 Strategic Planning session with the Board of Directors and staff. The Strategic Planning sessions will take place at a location to be determined in Boone, NC and should include a virtual option for some board members to participate.
As part of the Children’s Council of Watauga County’s strategic planning process, the board, staff and community members determine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of our birth-to-five demographic. Once this is determined, the group completes a Gap Needs Analysis to identify an action plan or areas of priority where future Smart Start funding or Children’s Council action or programming will be beneficial. The Strategic Planning Session will incorporate the SWOT of the Gaps Needs Analysis to complete the final strategic planning document for the organization’s three-year vision/plan. The plan should also set goals and strategies to support the internal infrastructure and operations of the nonprofit organization.
Individuals and agencies interested in providing this facilitation should send a written quote including proposed costs (travel, preparation, and facilitation fee) and qualifications of the individual to perform these services by the close of business on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Please submit quotes by email to Elisha Childers, Executive Director at elisha@thechildrenscouncil.org.
